Trade Show Booth
Urbana is a five-day conference attended by roughly 20,000 college students focused on faith and Christian ministry. During this triennial event Wycliffe Bible Translators establishes a noticeable presence to create brand awareness and promote service opportunities within the organization. To that end, a large trade show booth is designed to stand out amongst the rest in the exhibition hall.
This space was designed to be interactive and eye-catching on a limited budget. The six pillars—printed on gator board, edged with metal rails, and assembled with small hinges—were informational on two sides, and allowed students to write prayer requests and thoughts on the third side. The back “wall” transformed over the course of the conference as students who visited the booth were asked to apply small, styrene tiles to it. As they did the wall’s original black and white image, with the Bible verse in a foreign language, changed to a full color with an English Bible verse. This served as a talking point for those staffing the booth, and a representation of the life transformation that can happen when people are given the opportunity to experience the Bible in their heart language.
